New York Independence Day Celebration Tragically ends in Chaos

On a much sad note, I regret to bring to you the sad news from last night's tragedy during 4th of July celebration in New York. On this Independence day three young lives were lost as they attempted to view the fire works celebration. The pain, sorrow and regret the family must feel as they go through this somber day.

The thrill of joy at the ultimate price. As a father, I could never imagine loosing a child, let alone on this significant day which was to celebrate our Independence. Too early to jump to conclusions, but my heart goes out to t he family of the victims. Their Independence day will forever not be the same. It now comes as a reminder of the precious, love lost of their life.

Take a moment of silence and pray for the family and those that lost their life in New York last night as they sat out on a vessel to watch fireworks. It could have been anyone, unfortunately it was them. Perhaps through this tragedy there will be triumphs, my hope is that there is peace and love as well as blessings for the family of the victims. Give each and every child of yours a hug today and tell them that you love him or her. Tomorrow is not a promise to any of us.

May the soul of the victims rest in peace forevermore.

Summer Fun Stuff For Kids

Summer time is here once again, the time of year kids get excited due to the long break from school. For some summer camp begins, while others travel from state to state visiting parks, camps and resorts. For others it's summer school, work and study to help pull up those failing grades.
As kids we always look forward to the summer fun stuff such as the wonderful summer camps where you attend and meet up with some familiar faces and meeting new friends. The water games, pool and cooler games are the most exciting since the weather is extra HOT during this time of year. Disney is yet another favorite place for many to attend during this time of year where large gatherings make it much more fun and excitement at the water parks.

Summer has always been a wonderful experience for children and it will be for many years to come. The memories of joy during this time of year lasts for a lifetime. It's the time we look for the cutest water gears, toys and have a blast. These are precious memories which lasts for a lifetime.

What was your most memorable summer fun time?

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City PS3 Rev.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City turns the table as we fight for "the man" rather than humanity. Cosying down with The Umbrella Corporation felt a little odd at first, but I soon got into the swing of things.

Raccoon City is resurrected by Capcom and Vancouver-based developer Slant Six Games in the form of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Although leaving the main games in the series to do the real story work, it still offers an unusual twist in the form of team-based third person shooting.
Operation Raccoon City is set directly in the middle of the infection zone of the titular city. You can play as any of the Umbrella Security Service as they get sent around the city to obliterate all remaining evidence of Umbrella's seedy dealings with the incident -- which also means murdering any people who have an inkling of the unpalatable truth.

This is essentially the Hunk mission from Resident Evil 2 writ large. Those that found that hidden level in the second game will remember the storyline. Here it is extended, considerable as we learn of yet another tangent to the franchise's main trajectory.

The basic premise is that Umbrella Corporation realises that their G-Virus scientist William Birkin plans to sell the virus to the Government. Their response is to send in a team to try and stop the virus getting out. As you may imagine, literally within minutes the whole world is on the edge of extinction when Birkin gives himself the virus, mutates and wipes out the team.

Each of the available characters have different abilities and weapons, which much is expected. Less familiar though is the way the story is told from the perspective of the corporation. Playing through these events batting for the other side is an interesting and intriguing experience -- particularly when fan favourite characters like Claire Redfield, Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine are targeted by the corp.

From this ethically-murky, cauldron, climb series' favourite mutants. Tyrant, Hunters, Lickers and the deadly Nemesis all step up to thwart "the man" at some point in time. Players need to reduce contact with the enemies. If their infection gauge fills up it's game over -- anti-viral sprays and medics being the only way to drain the meter.

In addition to the main story, Operation Raccoon City also delivers a four-player cooperative campaign, a four-versus-four competitive game mode and a multi-player heroes mode. The sheer variety on offer here turns what might have been a footnote to the Resident Evil cannon into an engaging and interesting addition.

For fans of the series this is an essential tangent to tide them over to the arrival of Resident Evil 6. For the rest of us, it's still a good chance to enter the world of corporate mismanagement and viral weapons.

Missing Children Alert

By Sanford Hall

Today is a little different, you all know by now how much I love my two children and especially children in general. Well, I have decided to do this story and shed some light on the lives of missing children around the world. As a parent I couldn't and wouldn't want to imagine the way in which a missing child parent feels when a child goes missing.

As a loving dad I decide to bring some exposure to this story in hopes we can bring a child or some of the missing children home to their love ones. Have you ever asked yourself if you were a missing child? Wouldn't it be an eerie feeling to find out if you were and never knew?

Explore this site and see if you recognise any of the missing faces of children around the world. It would be a great help if only one child was to return home after you have red this story. Let's be alert and bring a missing child back home today.

Enhancing The Brain Of A Kid

By Sanford Hall

Does anything really Work?
Reading is fundamental for kids, it's one of the basic steps in enhancing the brain of children.  We all have our personal theories about what helps and what hinders our mind's capacity to think. And our culture is rife with fads. There is probably no more engaging question for us to ask ourselves than how we can enhance our mental powers.

Video games are a form of play, a simulation of exciting fight and flight activities that require constantly changing adaptations and multiple, shifting forms of attention. Good players must invoke unconscious and intuitive processing to keep abreast of the action. This is a form of challenge which in turns help stimulate and expand the mind.

Dad Is A Wonderful Experience

Being a father is the greatest joy of my life other than my lovely wife. As a father of a wonderful son and daughter I couldn't be any prouder. It brings great joy to see a smile on their face. I enjoy taking them to and from school. I enjoy playing on the park with them, taking them to the pool or just an evening walk.
What would I do without them?

Being a dad is wonderful, I get a blast from being around my children and just being a responsible and fun dad. Taking them to the doctor or to a school play or recital is something I look forward in doing all the time. I will be a daddy until die.

What's your experience as a dad, is it as wonderful as mine?
